Obi's Latest News

We are excited to share that our cherished four-year-old Hungarian Vizsla, Kentwone Alchemilla of Aegaeon, lovingly referred to as Obi, is expecting her second litter in early November 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to welcome these adorable new additions to our family!

Fantastic news

Healthy adorable pups

Obi had her first pup this morning at 2.23am @ 382 grams. She had number 12 at 9.15am and all are healty and quite large.

8 boys and 4 girls.

She was brilliant at birthing and everything went as well as it could plus she is being a great diligent mum. We all need a bit of extra sleep and will contact everyone in the next few days. More photos to follow in the next few days and watch out for some Instagram posts!

One day old !

Two days old !

Sad news: Despite every effort, Obi’s tiniest boy, the last-born pup passed away peacefully in Nemi's hands on Saturday morning. We are devastated as we have never experienced a loss of a pup before and feel very much heartbroken.

The positives are that Obi is doing well and being very diligent. All the other pups are putting on about 10% of their weight a day and seem in good form with their little tails now wiggling with contentment when they are feeding.

13 days old

Eyes are just opening, claws are being trimmed, first worming tomorrow and Obi is being a great Mum.

14 days old, some are starting to walk !

19 days old, walking and talking!

23 days old, walking, talking and now weaning for the first time. Obi is being a first-class Mum and all seems good.

26 days old, all feeding 5 times a day and Obi is still on call !

The pups always seem to pile up somewhere together !

Obi was over the moon to be running with the pack again. She had her first proper rest from the little furry balls of delight!

The pups had their first photo shoot yesterday. They were so photogenic! Each pup now has its own special page.

Puppies 2024

Nail clipping day went well, and they are all getting chunky, noisy and moving on all fours (just about) 12.6.24

Mr Yellows eyes are starting to open. They are growing into big bundles and make some very entertaining noises.

Obi has been fantastic and delivered 11 amazing pups!

4 girls and 7 boys. All went very well and she being a brilliant mum :)

Obi is a sofa Queen ! She is practicing a bit of pregnancy yoga before the arrival of her pups....

Obi has been taking it easy recently, Lazy walks through our local forests and she seems to be in great form. These two are soul sisters and are inseparable.
